    Oregon Int'l Airshow (KHIO)

I had my doubts about this show before I went. I had heard that the statics were a disappointment and the list of performers wasn't anything amazing. But boy did I end up surprised for the better!! All the acts were stellar - some of and in many cases, the best I'd ever seen. Here's some of my "A game" shots:

This F18 high speed sneak pass shot isn't my best and doesn't at all bear out the absolute hands down best F18 demo I've ever seen - and during pouring rain no less! This was beyond insane.

    OR ANG F15

    OR ANG F15

Jelly Belly Kent Pietsch Cadet (fantastic performance)

Sean Tucker and the Oracle Biplane

    Thunderbirds

nice shot of mr. tucker... i have a few very good friends working at that show.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    Thanks guys.

    A couple more:

-Hillsboro OR: In what can only be described as a bizarre policy decision via an unusual lapse of judgement, the Obama Administration has decided to crack down on the use of environmentally unfriendly cars via the reincarnation of Dick Cheney as Robosaurus. Now that's a bipartisan hiring policy!

A link to the F18 demo - too bad he didn't include all of it.

Judging by that landing, looks like the F-18 demo pilot just got off sea duty. :P Great shots!

    Not much really - a few A10's, a few F18's - F86, MiG, T6 2, Blackhawk?, B25, a few others that I forget. I mean it wasn't abysmal but for a military show it was sparse.

    Sick, sick, sick.

Going to put down my vote for the first vapour filled F-15 photo, nice catch.

I need to get south of the border to one of these shows. I went to the Reading and Lehigh Valley Airshows when I lived in Pennsylvania as a kid, always good fun.

That youtube of the F-18 passes made me wet.

The Thunderbirds are flying F-16D's now correct?

I believe so, yes. Though they may have a few C's?

    My last little batch (promise!)

Didn't know Dr Seuss designed an aircraft...
