Small plane crash-lands in NJ mall parking lot

ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A witness says a small plane has crash-landed in the parking lot of a northern New Jersey mall.
J.C. Penney employee Nadia Acevedo (ah-seh-VAY'-doh) said Tuesday that the pilot is being treated by paramedics.
She says she saw the small passenger plane in the parking lot near her store at the Rockaway Township Mall.
She says the front end of the plane appears to be damaged.

That mall is just south of I-80 at Exit 35, you can see it from the highway - I've stopped in there a few times when making the run between LI and PA, but I never got to see anything like this!

Update, the aircraft is a C-172, N6117R Air Fleet flight school plane based at CDW.

Wow, I was at that exact parking lot both the day before and two days before that happened.
that was crazy, and I only work a block from there. I would've seen it but their was traffic.
At least he crashed in a parking spot. :lol:
