Re: UN General Assembly 2009 info

    Hi folks,

Been a while, I trust everyone is well!

Time for the annual Rhode Island delegation to visit the area for the UN Aircraft.. Some have headed up to FRG have they? Wasnt expecting that! ;-)

According to flightaware the following have gone up to Stewart:

    5A-ONE Libyan A340
    F-OMEB MEA A330
    3C-EGE B737
    Kuwait 9 - A GulfV
    Turkmenistan 767
9A-CRO Croation Govt Challenger (which I scored in Providence a couple of years back!)
    N767KS B767
    Kuwait 3 - the A310

There are probably others but these are the ones I can see which are obvious..

anyone going to be around at JFK or EWR tomorrow/wednesday who can help with their observations by texting me? Please send me a pm and I'll leave you my number!!

Thanks in advance, maybe I'll see you around!

    Geoff
For Providence area information I am your man!

Gordon Brown arrived on a Virgin Atlantic 747 today, G-VFAB. Virgin recently snatched operations for the PM from British.

They park here every year for the GA. I think someone related (daughter?) lives or goes to school out here from what was told
    on this site.

Any chance of an idea on what is included in the 26? I'll be heading up there from Princeton at 5pm tomorrow!

Heading to SWF after work - will try to get some shots.

Are departures after the Assembly usually staggered? From the schedule it seems like there are several conference and committee meetings which stretch into next week and even October...

Last night I saw the Iranian SP by the triple hangars, as Senga mentioned. The late sun even shone on it....I'm surprised no one else grabbed it. Stupid me...not bringing a camera to work again.

I took my annual VIPweek trip up to SWF to see what is there that I need. I had all of but for this time. This I got 4 new countries I don't have registrations for.
Totally awsome was the Tchad/Chad Government MD-87 (TT-ABC) yes its spelled with a T.
    Other new planes:
    Swedish Air Force Gulfstream 024
    Government Monaco Government* 3A-MGA
    Croatia Government Challenger 9A-CRO

So far the Thad Government MD-87 is the highlight for me.
This is stuff is a lot better than the Garbage I have been shooting at JFK over the last few days.
The Tchad MD-87 was going to be leaving soon.
Other aircraft at SWF are as follows.

Hot, Senga. In the first pic, what is the gray one in the background with the star on the rudder?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
