just got home from work to see N318PD circling over my neighborhood. a couple of thier passes brought them right over my backyard. managed to get these from my kitchen window:
i'm not a big fan of eurocopters, the rotor noise is pretty weak compared to what i'm used to flying. they do look kinda cool though...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

In other Eurocopter news, I saw a pretty orange Coast Guard Dolphin for the first time in forever today, flying south over midtown.

Don Laughlin owns a EC120 and two of the Landmark guys and me went up with him a lot. I never liked heli but this thing seats 7 and can just cruise at high speed. Very smooth and fun.
