These are clouds behind the storm that induced a tornado warning in Queens and Nassau Sunday evening, and an earlier warning in NJ...shot a few mins after it blew through Midtown. I've never seen such huge mountainous clouds from the ground.

These look similar to the formations I saw after a storm that dropped a few tornadoes passed by while I was in Illinois. Enormous formations.

When the powerful storm was over Queens, I was able to see some weak rotation in the cloud layer. :shock: I also saw the same huge cloud formations after the storm passed. Pretty beautiful IMO.
