JFK Ballfield at Cargo Area A

My friend got stuck yesterday on his way to JFK near the JFK Ballfield at Cargo Area A. He was attempting to get to Terminal One. There was a bad accident closing-down all lanes for up to 2 hours on July 14. I never heard of JFK ballfield. Where exactly is it located and who plays there?

I hit a home run there and it broke the window of this huge pick up BLACK truck with dual rear tires. This is the same field where Mickey Mantle hit is 1300th homerun back when it was Idlewild.

It's right off of federal circle, near building 142...

and never take the JFK Expressway...lol

The ballfield is onthe property of my office....I was just standing on the side of it a little while ago.

The airlines and others airport companies (catering, cleaners, police, etc.) have softball teams that play each other. Not a bad league, and you can sit in the bleachers and watching either 31L departures or 13L arrivals behind you.

It is not, unfortunately, legal to play there if you're no in the league or don't have permission.

Sounds like a nice spotting location (when there's a game on that is......) No officer - I was taking pictures of the game (with one or two on there) :borat:

That map is old. It's been redone and it's actually a nice ballfield.

There a phone number on a sign on the fence of the field. I won't be at work for a few days if you want to check it out sooner, otherwise I'll check it out on Sunday.
