Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
Great news! I wonder what year (if ever) it will be when one can be at JFK, and notice an A380 landing or departing in the distance and not be reasonably sure just what airline it might be.

Of course not, but a vast majority of A380 operators will likely fly them to JFK.
Air Comet = maybe during the summer
Air France = yes
British Airways = yes
China Southern Airlines = maybe to EWR
Emirates = they'll be back
Etihad Airways = probably
Kingfisher Airlines = maybe
Korean Air = yes
Lufthansa = yes
Malaysia Airlines = maybe to EWR
Qantas = yes
Qatar Airways = yes
Singapore Airlines = yes
Thai Airways International = probably not
Virgin Atlantic = yes
ILFC = possible depending who they lease them to
Prince Waleed = He prefers EWR
In a few years we'll probably see a dozen every day.

Interesting article about the different layout on AF's A-380's compared to the present operators.
