Just picked John Tavares as the # 1 overall pick in the NHL dradt being held now in Montreal (Versus TV).
This kid is nasty and can be leading this team for many years.
As a Ranger fan I am extremely jealous. :(

well as an somehow very patient islander fan i do understand your jealousy, but the way i look at it.. i have been waiting 25 years for something good to come of this team, weve had out up's but 3/4 of the time it was down (bankrupt owners, mad mike, alexi yashin, the god him self dpietro). What i think is that he can be our sidney crosby and baily will be our malkin.

now if garth snow pulled some funny **** in typical islander fashon and got say dupree or hedman (whatever there names are) the 18,000 that were at the coliseum tonight would of tore that place down and we will be playing in kansas city for more then just a pre-season game this season.

so all in all thank you garth snow for giving me a heart attack, and as for all you ranger fans, you all suck, stop saying potvin sucks, for gods sake he retired years ago, you dont hear us saying 1940 anymore do we.. i mean yes 1994 was a fluke, but we all get lucky sometimes.
