    Great-Grandmother Tased by Highway Police

When will people understand, if you obey the Police, they won't bring an ass-kicking! Now, I am not sure about procedures, but, clearly she was resisting arrest....

Both parties were wrong I think. She was out of line but she wasn't a threat just for not signing her ticket. The NBC report I saw, however, makes me lean slightly to the cop's side...she apparently ran to the local news crying about the incident, denied the allegations that she resisted, and then immediately stopped doing interviews when the PD released the video showing she did.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

She was refusing his order not to go in the car, then she started to walk out into traffic, then she turned to enter the passenger side. She was a threat to herself. She boiled him over, He reacted. I thought it was interesting that he taised her and then she still refused to put her hands behind her back so he had to do it again. NOT GOOD.
