Forecast: Portion of Country Will Have "Year Without Summer"

    :?
This also explains why we haven't had many thunderstorms to speak of so far.
According to Long Range Expert Joe Bastardi, areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast will have a "year without a summer." The jet stream, which is suppressed abnormally south this spring, is also suppressing the number of thunderstorms that can form. The ones that do form in areas of the Ohio Valley and West are forming in places with very cold temperatures, which can lead to more electrified thunderstorms than normal this year.

10 day's in a row of forecasted low to mid 90's here in Tampa. Had a small 2 week beginning of rainy season late May with 10 inches of rain in a 2 week span. Getting dry again for a while with searing heat. Compared to last year here t-storms have been pretty much suppressed. Not many big storms here in the Lightning Corridor of Orlando-Tampa. Most of stuff happening had been from Vero Beach to Miami over to Ft Myers. Spring has been abnormally warm and This Summer like last seems to be trending to normal-below normal.

LOL and Friday morning at 2:30. But when are WE getting summer? Weather last week terrible and the forecast for the
upcoming week is with highs only in the 70s. Now that wouldnt be bad if it wasnt so cloudy and rainy.
