History Under the Stars - 2009 Photo Shoot

Once again, we had the opportunity to shoot some of the Jones Beach Airshow aircraft at the American Airpower Museum after hours on Saturday. This was the third annual "History Under The Stars" photo shoot, and we had a good group of photographers out for the evening, and some fog rolling in to lend a little "atmosphere" to the shoot. A huge "Thank You" goes out to everyone at the museum for making the night possible, especially Gary Lewi, and the volunteers who stayed with us after a long day of dealing with museum visitors and airshow aircraft. And a special thanks to my good friend, Fred "Derf" Miller, without whom none of this would take place. Fred, we always have the best adventures!

And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

I like that B/W shot Kenny, you should add some old school grain to it, give it a vintage look.

Thank you sir! I think I might.

BTW, I think the A-10 wing shot of yours is the tops man!

Re: History Under the Stars - 2009 Photo Shoot

WOW, GREAT STUFF guys!!! There are so many great shots I could not go shot by shot or I would be here all week. Thanks for all the great comments and Thanks really goes to Gary, Larry, Jim, Frank and all the ramp rats that made this possible. I will be sending requests out next week for some full sized photos for Museum use only if possible. I really would like to than you all for being professional on the ramp and respecting the Aircraft and Museum personnel as usual! You guys and your shots ROCK! OUTSTANDING!
