    Gas Prices

I just paid more than $50 to fill up for the first time since November.

Not going to be a fun summer.

they have been going up. i've noticed that now i have to search for cheap gas, used to be able to pull into the BP at LGA and spend less than what i would in my neighborhood.

oh well... maybe i should buy that Prius i saw for sale the other day.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Prices in Florida have jumped a lot this week alone - I paid $2.09 last Friday - I paid $2.35 today - although I did see it for $2.26 later in the drive

Must be that "summer additive" that they use in the gas. Gas on LI going for an average $2.45 today.

Prices will continue to increase right up to the Memorial Day holiday next week. There's not reason the prices are this high. Supply is way up and demand is still down, speculators are once again driving up the price. Don't expect this to help the economy one bit.

Yeah, this is oil being used as an investment tool. I'm not starting to think that oil futures shouldn't be traded anymore.

I just got word from my friend that works for the New York State Department of Transportation saying there going to tag on a 30 cent tax increase onto to gas prices. The reason behind this is that New York State is losing so much money due to the recession and less people driving....

ARE THEY OUT OF THERE MINDS.....
I think these people are on drugs.

That has to be passed by the State Senate and there is no way it will go through..if you want to kill off what's left of NYS's economy then this will do it. I swear I really wish I could take public transportation to work everyday..I'd save a ton on gas.
