If I would have known it was coming in today I would have been the first to get it, the 22s were in use, and the chances are, I would have got it from soundview :( . But ill be at the tour for it on Friday.

Phil, I agree, we have a similar view from our Ramp Tower/office. For those interested the 10 is parked at Echo, where the last couple of kids days have been. Probably only way to see it by car would be limited to those who have access to the employee parking lot. A blocked and very restricted view can be had from Planeview but the view is so poor not worth a special trip out their.

For those touring the aircraft it looks like the same mini ramp tour by bus like at the last 3 or so kids days will be included to get to the aircraft.

    Regards

The plane is viewable from planeview park. It is to the right of the new ARFF being built next to Trump's plane.

    Re: ORBIS Plane at LGA

Here is a little history of LGA's visiting DC-10, the second off the line in 1970.

Even though many DC-10's visted LGA in the 70's, and to a lessor extent the 80's and 90's based on it's operators this is likely this 10's first visit to LGA.

    Cheers

Nice article about Captain Jim Bevier, one of Orbis's volunteer pilots, nice read.

And here it is on approach to LGA, the watermark gives away the shoooter. :)

This once in a lifetime event was missed by ME this morning. I was unable to make the tour. :(

However, I am sure others will have photos to post from the day anytime now. :)
