    One sad looking 773

We all joke about dirty Air France planes and my own beloved US has taken a lot of past abuse about the paint on some of our Boeings but this is just wrong.

Such an amazing plane let to look this bad.

The really sad part is this has to be factory paint, as this bird is only 4 years old.

    Regards

And I thought US paint jobs were bad.

    4 years?

It's probably up for a C check soon, where it will be stripped and repainted completely...

The real question is who to be sad about.

I mean its no secret AF doesnt have CLEAN planes, but if Boeing is applying the paint, seems like a rhetorical statement on US craftsmanship.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Very good point, no reason paint after four years would be peeling like that. Wouldn't surprise me if it was applied or mixed wrong.

Ive seen the same thing on some UA 733s and US 733s in the 97 colors. In fact Ive noticed one UA 733 at LGA one day with paint peeling and it had the old gray under the paint.

Just proves the ole' grey color is superior!!

It's a shame about the 777. Can't be good for company image.
