    DTW Apr 11th 2009

I have just enough mile for a domestic ticket on NW and decided to go to DTW to capture its fleet changing from NW to DL scheme. I was able get 744, 330 and DC9 in DL's new color. Another remarkable thing is the DTW terminal itself. It's very impressive. Here are the photos:

A-330 in new color taxi back to the terminal after landing on 3R, taken from the McNamara parking garage:

DC9-50 in new color parted at the gate. Does this mean DL intends to keep some of the DC-9 flying for a while?

the 727 looks like it might belong to Rousch racing.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Thanks Senga. I also found out from the Detroit spotter forum about the owner of the 727. It apparently left DTW on. Sunday
