Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
that scheme wouldn't be as bad, if it were done with a bit more subtle colors. too bad it's a 'bus too...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Such a beauty. Check out the many different outfits this bird has worn!

Seems she may have been through LGA at one point?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

mario, i hate to do this to you buddy. the reg is an airbus delivery registration, just look at the different a/c serial numbers in that search you linked. the a/c in question is a new-built frame.

Not even listed on Airfleets yet. Best I can tell that c/n 3856 is within about 20 of the most recent builds. Brand spanking new.

My mistake. Wow, I just learned something.
Does that mean DAVWB is a reg used for new jets?

yes, a temporary one for flight testing purposes. until that's completed and the a/c is certified it can't be registered by the owner. when the final airworthiness documents are signed then the owner can finally process his own registration paperwork and get thier numbers/ letters painted on the side. in most cases you'll see the temporary reg applied on a sticker which is covering the pending registration underneath, already painted in place.Originally Posted by mirrodie
