    Just reminiscing.......April 8 2003

Ahh, just thinking about the day....

Checkin at Paddington Station, which BA no longer does.

Rail into LHR passing one steam train along the rails,

A few hours in a pub with one of the engineers that prepped G-BOAC the day before.

A relaxing massage in the Spa at Heathrow.

    The takeoff of a lifetime.

Feeling the afterburners kick back on over water, 2 by 2.

Marvin Gaye's "Flying High" at 58,500 feet.

Lots of JW Blue, caviar and champagne.

Arriving over Long Island to see snow covering the ground.

Left LHR at 1820 local time, arrived JFK at 1730 local time.

Great times on Concorde. What a great time.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

The sad part is it will never be the same again.
Train as if your life depends on it. Because some day it may.
Opinions expressed are my own & not those of my employer.

I would hope those $10K tickets included some happy ending action. :borat:
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
