AA LGA Employee killed by Drunk Driver

While not totally aviation related but a sad story indeed of an AA employee of 20 years killed this morning in Smithtown by a drunk driver. I'll be damned...I'm almost sure I've interacted with her at LGA before based on the picture. You start to recognize the employees when you travel a lot.

    may she RIP...

on a side note, i know two of my coworkers who've also been in accidents caused by drunk drivers. both survived the accidents but only returned to work after extensive surgeries and rehab. they were lucky.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the family & co workers. This is very sad indeed.

As a former leo I NEVER gave any breaks to drunk drivers, they took the ride.
Train as if your life depends on it. Because some day it may.
