thanks for the heads up. will there be a certain callsign or will it just be an AAL charter flight #?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Probably just a charter number. AA is really making an event of this. I'm hoping to get there to honor these heros.

Just a reminder folks this is tommorow My contact at AA called me this morning to remind me, it will be ferrying in around 0900 and departing at 1000, in case anyone wants to brave the cold and try and get a shot. I asked if the same aircraft would return later in the day and he said it appears to be a one-way charter, he was not sure how they where returning

AA has recently significanty reduced their 738 ops at LGA and I have never seen that special scheme at LGA so here's your rare (for nowanyway) chance folks.

    Cheers

There is a tradition for the Aircraft Fire Rescue trucks to pay tribute by spraying the aircraft. Many times this is done for a retiring pilot on his last flight. LGA PAPD doesn't often do this.
