I just saw this... wow, very eerie feeling. I talked to them when they departed EWR tonight
49 killed. All on board (44 passengers and 4 crew) and 1 person on the ground.

I hate to speculate but Icing comes to mind...

I've uploaded the relevant Buffalo Approach/Buffalo Tower clip to YouTube. 3407 is heard on approach and gets handed off to the tower, but at one point she just stops responding, doesn't report any problems. Not completely real time...I cut out some irrelevant content to meet YouTube's 10 min limit.

What a really sad event after the total high of US1549 - prayers and condolences to the families of the victims as well as all those at Colgan and CO - Bill - you look after yourself too!!!
