    the Live ATC archive show's the PNF's last words were acknowleging the frequency change to tower from approach.

    I hate to speculate but Icing comes to mind...

    My guess would be combination of landinggear problem and icing, getting below stallspeed and
    then stalled.

    I've uploaded the relevant Buffalo Approach/Buffalo Tower clip to YouTube. 3407 is heard on approach and gets handed off to the tower, but at one point she just stops responding, doesn't report any problems. Not completely real time...I cut out some irrelevant content to meet YouTube's 10 min limit.
