    PHL - February 4, 2009

8 inches of fresh snow cover made for some nice reflective photos

It May Look Like Canada, but it was Philadelphia

A little off topic. This is one of the photo spots at PHL. Note only my tire tracks were there. I guess I was the only nut to venture out.

I was actually in Philly yesterday, and it looked absolutely gorgeous over there.

    Great shots!

I'll be down in Philly next Tuesday to visit one of the college. Hopefully I can squeez in a little spotting.
Looks like that snow really lit up the underside of the plane perfectly.

If the weather is good, I'll be out there on Hog Island Rd somewhere. Just look for a Silver RAV4 and a guy with a PHLSpotters hat (or maybe an AOPA hat).

The snow will be melted by then, sorry to say.

In PHL do they typicaly use the same runways or mix it up like at JFK?

Its almost always the same... arrivals on 26, 27R, 35 (26 and 35 are mostly Dash and RJ traffic), departures on 27L, or arrivals on 9R and departures on 9L, with 8 departures and 17 arrivals.
