Well I finally went out on my first plane spotting journey. I got a lot more but this one was the best. What do youguys think?

A little L goes a long way.
Liking the shot, excellent!
I was browsing through more of my photos and found this one; a British Airways Boeing 747.

nice angles! The SW 737 angle is great, because you see the contrasting red flap fairings against everything else, along with the second winglet.
and the 747 - what else in the world looks like that, coming straight at ya!
...."most guys dig narrow bodies with large bumps and round tails that have a floral fragrance. others dig wide bodies with large bumps and wide tails that have that Jet-A scent. Me? I dig planes..."
Nice shots and good job on the editing for a first time out. One piece of advice ease up a touch on the contrast, the WN bird is just boarder lining on a bit harsh with the contrast, but for the first time out..best results I've seen in a long time from a first timer.
Agreed with T-Bird - great first time shots. Excellent even.
I think I'd also recommend a bit less contrast too - and be careful not to oversharpen.
But great stuff
What lens(es) did you end up going with?
Nice shots especially since it was your first time around.
I think ya nailed that 747 shot perfectly! What airport were you at?

Thanks guys, I have to admit that other spotters helped me out. I ended up using the Canon 100-400mm. Some of the spotters there let me try out their gear also.

Good choice.
