    locate "hard to find" lenses?

    Well i've tried the normal ebay, googling other sites..

    Anyone know physical locations to find equipment?

    I'd look at the "Used" sections of B&H and Adorama, especially if the lens you're looking for is out of production.

    yep those two were first on my list...

    no joy :(, just the tamron glass...I want the Nikkor stuff.

    I'm a fellow nikon shooter. You could give keh.com a look. I haven't really seen anything exotic on craigslist. What lens are you lookin for?

    Why don't you look into the 18-200VR? Its a little wider and has VR. I have it; its only real strength is its versatility both other than that ehhh....

    Keep an eye on the Used Inventory list at Cameta Camera, located in Amityville. I have an old Nikon F3 that I used to play with, and I've bought a few old lenses from there before.
