"My pre-flight meal with the FO had various forms of fowl among him and myself, and we joked that the birds' family would avenge his death in-flight. Their attack came in two waves. The first one I was able to evade, but then they flew in a circle, overcame us and turned back towards us for a second attempt/ I did a few barrel-rolls but they still hit us.
