Steve,
You forget to mention the approved Heritage Flight with A-10 and P-51 too !! :borat:
although not confirmed yet.. the f22 is being planned as we speak!!.. i have a list of everything so far which i got at work.. looks like the snowbirds will be coming with 11 a/c and parking on our ramp where the red arrows were parked when they visited us a few months ago
Wow, that's interesting news about the F-22 possibly being at Jones Beach again,
especially since the Air Force is already sending Thunderbirds to the show.
Anyway, I'm sure if the F-22 is approved it would be based out at MacArthur again.
BTW, Do you know where the F-18F and A-10 Demo teams will be based yet ?
Also, any news on when the Snowbird is rescheduling it's visit ?
Thanks for all your help keeping us informed !! :borat:
This air show keeps getting BETTER AND BETTER!!!!!
:D :D :D :D
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the Strike Eagle but if the T-Birds, A-10, and now the F-22 are there, chances are ACC isn't going to send another AF demo...
Last time the T-Birds were there a B-1B did a flyby, that would be real nice too!
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
The most recent ACC schedule (Feb 24) lists the F-15E demo at shows the three weekends prior to Jones Beach, and the two weekends following, so don't hold your breath. I remember last year, discussions about the F-22 demo said there was a limit as to how many shows per month (and/or consecutive weeks) the Raptor could perform at, due to pilot and crew limitations. If there is a similar restriction on the rest of the ACC teams, I wouldn't expect to see a Strike Eagle at the beach this year.Originally Posted by Big Tim #70

About the B-1 flyby, I will always remember how it made the kids around us cry. :borat:

Not as loud as a Bone but more aerobatic. Mr. Matt Chapman has been officially added. :)
