it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

in an interesting chance of pace, N700WU and N702UW both have passed through LGA today. they're the US Airways Star Alliance schemes that haven't been through here in quite a while...

Any VIPs at LGA tonight? Saw a huge motorcade heading east over the Triborough and onto the GCP around 9pm. Could have been going to JFK also, I suppose.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

there were a number of GA airplanes parked at 5-towers. N821AM was on the approach as i drove home, but that's the only a/c i recognised. was a half day for me though, left at 1800.

Just want to make sure I'm not going to cause someone a problem, will try to post tomorrow.

In the meantime, here's a Delta A319 (still using a NW callsign) that was in this afternoon.

    Re: Daily LGA Report 2009

    21 May

Todays highlight by far was the approx 1930 departure of AA's Pink stripped 757 operating AA 2011 to MIA. Despite the heavy AA 757 presense at LGA and all the hours I spend here with a runway view this is only the third or fourth sighting for me.

Thursday afternoons are a heavy general aviation departure time at LGA and among todays group was a Piagio and a Piper Malibu.

    Regards

Did they use Plain Northwest or did they say "Northwest in Delta" Colors moniker ?
