He's actually in town to campaign for NJ Gov. Jon Corzine, but stopping at the FBI/JTTF to justify charging the trip to the taxpayers. (This is a non-partisan post: Presidents of both parties do this sort of thing).
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

...anyway:
27 October
1730L
a bent-wing C-32A just landed here at LGA as "Air Force Two."
1810L
and now, she's gone... sure is pretty!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
30 October
1135L
picked up an early shift, parked and saw N988LS on the other side of the fence. for those that don't recognise the reg, she's the Las Vegas Sands G-VI.
1410L
i stand corrected, it was N588LS and she just departed to KLAS.

Also I saw an F/A18 depart out of 13 this morning as well, I took a shot as it flew over me in the Bronx

N835BA was parked with the L1 door open. she's Boeings Company BBJ.
not far from Boeing's BBJ there was a USAF C-37A parked all plugged up. 01-0029 is her serial number, formerly N624GA.
1550L
N946AT was palling into alleyway when one of my coworkers spotted it. she's the airTran Ravens schem, i'm not inpressed....

07 Nov
Over a 3 hour period today 3 unmarked militay versions of the G-V departed.
2 Where US Navy C-37B's 166378 and 166379 and the middle one was
a USAF C-37A 01-0029. Found it a little odd that all left in a 3 hour period.
But the highlight for me was N711HK, "The Herbert D Kelleher" and one of 3
Southwest 737-700's in their classic Gold scheme, really pretty I think !
Cheers

Probably carrying the brass that attended the USS New York commissioning. Lots of top Navy folks on hand, as well as Sec of State Clinton. I imagine that once the ceremonies were over, they all needed to head back to work.Originally Posted by LGA777
