Listening to tower tonight, after the weather cleared and departures started rolling again, I heard tower tell a WN flight ( cant remember the flt ) contact departure and have a good night. He replied "too late" I chuckled and said, you aint seen nothing yet. I heard another pilot say something about "3 days and they're complaining already?"

    03 July

    1445L

USN C-9B "City of Yorktown" departed Rwy 4 leaving a long trail of noise behind them.
Miami Air's N752MA is here as well.

    1535L
an unknown C-172 landed on 31.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

    03 July Part 2

    Two additions to add,

    1700L

My first look at Airtrans latest (sort of) Special Scheme, some of you may not of heard of this scheme, it promotes their new WIFI onboard and that local guy Mark who lived on one of their 737's for a month, here is the only shot so far.

Ironically this is the same 717 that had the Elton John decals back in 2005.

    2100L

Peter Nygards 727 made a noisy arrival on 31.

    Cheers

N752MA just departed to PIE as BSK391. VP-BPZ is still here though, parked next to our resident VP-BDJ.

Who was it that buzzed the tower on July 4th? Looked like a single engine warbird?

N753SW is sitting in front of the hangar in what may be SWA's first major mechanical issue here at LGA.
    1430L
    N125DL departed to ATL as DAL1783, she's a new-colored 767-300.

    14 July

    2010L

DL 737-700 N302DQ operated DL 790/795 ATL-LGA-ATL. This now appears to scheduled but on Tuesdays only, arrives 2010L, departs 2100L. Kind of odd this flight is no-op Sat, 738 Sunday, 757 Mon, 73G Tue, M80 Wed, and 757 Thur and Friday.

If the flights arrives on time their is just enough light for a landing shot!

    Cheers

    16 July

    1600L

Even though US Special Schemes are a common site at LGA we actually just had 4 at once, PSA and Allegheny, 1600 Shuttle departures to BOS and DCA, and Steelers and Panthers, 1700 departures to BOS and CLT.

Even though I see around 5 WN 737's a day at work 5 to 6 days a week I still have not seen one WN Special Scheme yet, very dissapointing.

    Regards
