Obama hosting pricey party in a dicey economy

Four years ago, several Democrats and some media outlets blasted Bush for an inauguration that rang up somewhere in the $40-$70 million range.

This year, while the government is handing out trillions of dollars to private businesses and the economy is in the toilet, the bill for Obama's inauguration festivities is approaching $150 million and nary a New York Congressman nor a HuffPo blogger has made a peep about it.

Even the AP is calling them out on their ridiculousness.
