    PHOTOS: PHL - December 29, 2008 (8:15am-5:15pm)

Yesterday made up for my last (overcast) visit to PHL. There were plenty of special schemes, but of course I had all of them already (I'm still missing the Arizona Cardinals and a decent photo of the PSA heritage). I almost photographed the Steelers 3 times (AM departure, PM arrival, PM departure), but I was about 30 seconds late on the second departure, which was a shame since it was a great bank at sunset. Since I left the house at 7am, I had no idea when the An-124 was leaving. While watching arrivals, I saw the rudder kick over a few times, and I was hoping they were getting ready to roll, but sunset came and they were still around. Luckily, I stuck around with them.

must say i like the G-IV side-on and the USA A333 climbing bank shots the most. nice work.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
