    JFK 12/21 From 2AM-8AM!

    I decieded to take a major risk to do some JFK spotting between 2AM to 8AM.. I did slept most of the day before I headed out. Here are my shots













    Sergio has been a huge Delta Air Lines fan since 1992!!

    Well that's an interesting time frame to go spotting, especially when its cold and snowing! Nonetheless it's neat to see the 'midnight' shift shots of JFK, I'd really love to spend an evening driving around inside the airport perimeter checking such operations out.

    Nice catch on the Avianca 757-200 with winglets, that's an ex-Ocean Air bird.

    Its actually fun walking around there after midnight taking pictures with out no one bothering me one bit.

    nope, no observation decks at JFK, just parking lots.

    used to watch the Pan Am cargo 747s launch at 0 Dark 30 when I was a kid,and when I was a freight dog the back side of the clock was my home,I also remember Pan Am doing full power engines runs with the 707 in the 60's,(Maintenance),at 3am,and waking up the neighborhood....
    The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

    Love the night lighting! Great job!!!!
