Trip Report: Florida For Winter Break

First, I hope everyone had fun in the snow. I also hope everyone drove safely today!

Now, I am going to Florida this Tuesday for winter break. I will be returning home to NY on January 19. Here is my flight info:

Okay, now for the trip report.

My friend drove me to the airport at around 2:55 PM. I got to check my bag for free since I booked before November. Security was a breeze, so I made it through pretty quick. I took an eat break at Burger King in the Delta Terminal, and then walked to my gate (gate 5).

I boarded the oversold flight about an hour early. We pushed from the gate on time and waited in yet again a short line for take off. The captain announced we were number 3. We departed runway 31 and turned around over Long Island and flew out. The inflight beverage service was good (it is still free with Delta). Our descent was nice, I couldn't recognize where we were because it was so dark, but I have a feeling we may have come in over Daytona, because we landed to the south. We touched down at 8:18 and we were at the gate by 8:30. Baggage claim was easy and I met my parents shortly afterward.
