The weather prediction looks great!! Anyone, anyone? Bueller? Bueller? I was shooting for JFK or LGA depending on winds.

Never made it out either - left the house around Noon, and it looked to be clouding up. From the looks of things later, it probably would have been half way decent.

Well, me, Kenny, Brian and Andy met up at Bayswater this morning on. We had limited light today because a bunch of clouds rolled in. We did get plenty of nice departure shots though. Heres mine

    I got more to upload!!

nice shot of the flightcheck. they did a low pass at LGA this weekend. i've yet to get a decent shot of them doing any work at LGA as they're always there in the wee hours of the morning. shame...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

that King Air is an FAA route check ship. In the 60s-70s, the FAA used DC-3s for the same job, My first DC-3 sighting in memory was a Fed bird checking the parameters of the 13L approach, one fine summers day in the late 60's.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
