    LAX 11/15 and 11/22

Here's a few from LAX from last weekend and yesterday. I was surprised by an old Navy Douglas 9 and a USAF 737 Sat morning! Btw these are in no real order.

One of the three wildfires can be seen in the background.

The orange glow isn't the sunset...its the smoke coming over the sun. About 20 mins later it was raining ashes.

Wonderful review from LA Tommy! The UA 744 has some great wingflex.
Aspires to become an Air Traffic Controller at Kennedy Tower.

Nice assortment of great shots Tommy. Any idea what's up with the construction at the Theme Building? First shots I had seen with all the scafolding.

Seems like you had a pretty successful trip.

Its been under renovation for over a year now Ron. Progress seems very slow on it. Encounters is open during the renovations.

Where did you go to shoot?
Looks like you hit imperial in addition to a few others.
Sadly I wasn't able to get down to LAX on Saturday - but I was there this morning when it was super foggy.
Excellent shots, by the way. I wish very much that I could've stayed longer on Wednesday - but for only 2 hours of shooting I shouldn't complain!

Great photos! Wonder why the United 747 and 767 have so many closed windows on them...
