    LIRR Bumped Trains this morning

Did anyone else have to deal with the massive amount of delays due to the LIRR accident at Jamaica this morning? Our train was over an hour late, and we crawled all the way from St. Albans up to Jamaica. I have never seen so many trains just sitting there standing still for miles on the main line like that.

Missed it as my train usually passes through Jamaica around 7:10AM but there were signal problems on the Main Line this morning and we were running 15 minutes late. Then tonite I was on the 5:17 to Huntington and a train broke down at Merillon Avenue so we ran about 20 minutes late.I heard about the delays from a number of co-workers who come in later (today MUCH later).
Not a good day for the LIRR.
