Yummy. I dig the condensation in the Shanghai -11 shot.
niec work as always eric. how close were you to that MD-11?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

How long has Qantas been flying the 330's to LAX?
Eric,
Awesome shots, they really make me want to head back to LAX someday soon. Great mix of different traffic and shooting conditions. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Guys
First two and a half days were great. About mid afternoon on Saturday the smoke moved in and ash began to fall.

One of these days I vow to get to LAX. Great stuff Eric, love the wing flex on the UA 744.
I flew out of LAX on F9, DEN then DTW bound,on 11/13, quite simply after JFK, the best aerodrome for spotting in the states,MIA,a close 3rd, then EWR,then LGA,then ORD !
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
