yay for the days of unelevated roadways! Those are some awesome pictures!

Why NYS would destroy this beautiful airport with the current roadways is beyond me. I kind of understand getting rid of the fountains and pools, from what I hear they were attracting birds and getting in the way of flights...but the three chapels and the grass, just gorgeous. To this day I still hate Cuomo and the NJ governor of that day for green lighting the redevelopment project.
