Hillary Bows Out of Iran Protest After Palin Invited

Hillary Clinton has canceled a scheduled appearance at an anti-Iran protest during the UN General Assembly next week after learning GOP VP candidate Gov. Sarah Palin had also been invited and was planning to attend.

"Her attendance was news to us, and this was never billed to us as a partisan political event," said Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines. "Sen. Clinton will therefore not be attending."

If everyone involved agrees on this issue, how is it a partisan event?! What a loser.

Of course if it had been Palin who pulled out, this would be the top story on CNN right now.

And why would she be against a partisan event? Wouldn't that be positive PR for her? This makes her look like a resentful fool.

Oh yea, I mean if not getting the VP nod was one thing she must have wanted to strangle someone when she heard Palin was picked as McCain's running mate and got even more mad when she saw how popular she is becoming. It's not good being Hillary these days and her pulling out of this function is proof positive of the loathing she has.

Maybe it had something to do with that SNL skit the other day.

She's probably still a distant 2nd to Jesse Jackson at this point in the resentment sweepstakes.
