    Update on LiveATC.net JFK feeds

    Hi all-

I was in NYC yesterday to get the JFK feed moved to its new location in Valley Stream. While I was there we made a couple of changes:

    - separated JFK Delivery and Ground onto separate feeds
    - added a company feed with the following:

    Cargoitalia: 131.400
    Chautauqua: 130.850
Chautauqua, Comair, Republic, Freedom Air: 131.850
    Continental: 131.500
    Delta; 129.650
    Evergreen Int'l: 129.625
    JetBlue: 129.825 129.100 136.550
    North American: 129.75 129.00
    Sun Country: 131.950
    ???: 131.375

    ARINC Extended Range VHF: 129.900
Note: Used by ARINC to relay position reports to ATC for southbound traffic entering WATRS (West Atlantic Route System) airspace

If anyone knows of other company frequencies we'd be happy to add those at some point.

You can find the feeds at:

    Enjoy,

Good stuff, Dave. Thanks for the update. Your friends here at NYCA applaud your continued dedication to providing us with feeds!

You know, in all honesty, that means that you can literally listen to me on the radio when I talk to my planes. Your NAA freqs are wrong though. Although, one of the other ones listed looks familiar. ;)

ARINC is a good deal, too. I think I'll be listening to LiveATC even more than I did before!

    Thanks for the links!

Does anybody know how to make these links work on Windows Mobile?

We have had users on WinMo report being able to listen, but I am not sure of the details.

You can try directly opening feeds using the direct links listed on the site directory. For example, in WinMo's WMP try opening:

    http://d.liveatc.net/kjfk_twr
    or
    http://d.liveatc.net/kjfk_twr.m3u

Just not sure how WMP on WinMO handles various content types.

Hey Dave thanks for the reply. I tried the links but they unfortunately dont work. I have found that Url's
ending in ".asx" usually work on my Windows Mobile phone. It would be AWESOME to listen to live atc right
from my phone without having to buy a scanner. I'll keep searching for one.

ARINC's (San Francisco Radio) for the NYC area is 129.35 & 129.45 .. some interesting conversations can be heard occasionally there , with more aircraft with SATCOM and ACARS , it's not as widely used as it once was.
