Memphis, TN (WREC-AM) - Officials in Shelby County, Tennessee are looking to cash in one of their biggest busts.

They foiled a prostitution ring operating inside a Memphis strip club. The club's owner is now serving an 18 month prison term after admitting to the crime.

Now they're auctioning off all the contents they confiscated inside the building.

Some of the things up for sale in the auction included clothes, shoes, a disco ball, pasties, even poles.

"I understand there are about 200 pairs of shoes that are to be sold," says Shelby County District Attorney Bill Gibbons.

Gibbons says he expects a lot of interest in the sale of stripper's goodies. He also says he hopes the auction marks the final chapter in the case.

All the money raised will go to support the law enforcement offices that took part in the investigation.
