I attended today's Met game with a group of friends, sitting in the upper deck on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I went to my first game at Shea in June 1969, and today will very likely be the last game I see at the big ballpark in Flushing. In a somewhat fitting bit of symmetry, the Mets lost both the first and last games I saw at Shea. In between, there were countless games, some they won, more that they lost, but regardless of the outcome, nothing beats a day at the ballpark. Thanks for the memories!

Wow awesome photos Moose. It will be sad to see the old Shea go but at least there are memories each Met fan will treasure about the ballpark.
