AA MD-80 engine failure landing at LGA?

I dont have any info yet but while I was spotting at Ferry Pt Park in the Bronx around 1:45PM today, I snaped a few shots of an AA MD-80 with smoke coming out the #2 engine while landing at LGA. Are my shots, tell me what you guys think

    What you guys think?

Looks like it's coming from the front of the engine, not the exhaust. Fuel leak?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
