    8/10/08 - C08

So I'm on vacation in the middle of nowhere in Colorado. We were driving by a little airport (Silver West Airport - C08) this afternoon. It's an interesting field...the airport elevation is 8290 feet MSL, so only high-performance airplanes can really operate there, but not too high-performance, because the runway is only 55 feet wide. I didn't have the patience to wait for a takeoff or landing, but there were a few planes on the ground, so I took pics. Any idea how to get these uploaded to JP? The airport isn't in their database, and there doesn't seem to be a way to add a new airport that doesn't have an ICAO code...

Wow, talk about flying in G-d's country. Very cool!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

7000 feet. Which isn't a lot at this altitude during the summer...

Yeah, that form requires an ICAO identifier...this airport doesn't have one :)

C08 is an ICAO code... The caption says 4 letter code because that's the norm.
