Does anybody know who has been operating Air Jamaica 80/81 (Orlando-Montego Bay-Orlando) lately? For the last month it has been on a 737-400, and Today the 81 (MKJS-KMCO) was on a 737-800W.

Probably Miami Air - they have both 734 and 738W.

We've been getting a 734 operating 44/45 in PHL for over a month - It's Xtra Airways. The 734 might be them... Don't know how many they have.

They recently took delivery of their first A319, ex-SkyBus aircraft, so I'd assume the short term leases will soon be replaced with their own metal.
It is Xtra Airways, I saw their 400 in Sangster (MBJ) yesterday parked next to us and I spoke to the captain. Some Days they use both their 400 and 800 for Air Jamaica. Thanks all!

Wow, glad you got to find that out first-hand!
How was the ride?

The trip was good.....long delays. JFK-MBJ-FLL-MBJ-JFK was a total of 20hrs..... The 757 jumpseat is not all that roomy!!!
