I understand she came in before sunrise this morning. Not sure if it's still here or when it's leaving though.

There was a special VIP on board that certainly would require a blocked flight.

Its Bill Clinton, came in from Little Rock. I shot the google 767 last week at EWR that was supposed to fly him to Africa, but it had some maintanence issues. So they then used N88ZL instead. The article is slightly incorrect, the 767 lost an engine at EWR, not in Africa. It was stuck here for a few days.Originally Posted by Phil D.

N88ZL is always blocked on flightaware.
Bill
njtgr82 said it. Not me. ;)
Actually, I've seen N88ZL on flightaware before. But when there are certain VIPs on a plane that require federal agents on board, the callsign changes.

She was at JFK last week as well, apprantly she's been there rather often from what I heard. There also was a CO 753 at JFK for a few days with engine trouble two weeks ago. She came in on a charter and broke down.
I saw N88ZL at JFK on July 30th as well, I was just too lazy to find the daily JFK thread.
Yeah, when I landed I saw N88ZL and the CO 753 at JFK, mentioned both to Gordon and in fact, if you guys want to see it I have some (probably crappy) photos of both from the air landing.
nwa FOREVER!
You did indeed mention both to me, Matt but we both ended up seeing N88ZL parked by Icelandair Cargo. ;)
[It wasn't a charter...it was a diversion of CO1803 LAX/EWR...I also have a couple of pics of the 707 from when it was parked in front of hangar 7...will try and post...they're not fabulous but its nice to see a vintage a/c like thatOriginally Posted by T-Bird76
