JP Queue

Not wanting to start anything like an a.net vs jp.net war - but - I've noticed over the past few weeks that the queue at jp has got really big - in excess of 8,000 pictures at times. My question is - are people just taking more and more pictures, or are we starting to see the real movement away from a.net to jp.net?

Mark there's a combination of reasons taking place right now. One, traffic has more then doubled to the site in the last 12 months, in the summer you get an increase in uploads, and screeners take vacations in the summer. For August we have four screeners on vacation including myself. Based on the 1000 shot requirement a month to screen that's 4000 less pics screened and that's only if we did the basic, most of use do well more then 1000 shots a month. I know myself I won't be screening all to much this month, biz trips and vacation coming up. However since today is such a crap day I'll prob try to do a mass screening in one sitting this afternoon.

That explains a lot Tommy - I have just been looking at the volume the past few weeks - the one thing I will say is that the time spent in the queue is not a whole lot more, so the screeners that are working have been going through great loads! Compliments to them! I know you vacation is coming up soon! I bet you are really looking forward to it!!!
