Manhattan Lawyer Files Class Action Suit Against Delta

A Manhattan man who was stranded with his girlfriend in Paris during a strike that grounded flights out of Charles De Gaulle airport has filed a $5 million class action suit against Delta Air Lines, claiming they refused to rebook him over the phone, nor did they refund his airfare for the canceled flight. Thomas Mullaney, a 38 year old class action attorney, says Delta told him he had to go to the airport to rebook, which of course was practically in riot mode due to the strike. They promised to refund his $2500, but after 8 months they still have not. They eventually got home on American Airlines.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

I wish I could join him, Delta customer service seems to be deteriorating.
