I would love that spot on 22L when the concorde was approaching...but woud hear crunching in my ears for the next half hour or so! :borat: Rock on!

Hey I had a BAW Concorde land over my when I was between the 13L approach lights. Things went from loud to deafening it went MISSED right above me! I knew at that point it would be better to cover my ears that take pictures.

    Yea Tom,
Landing and departing 4s and departing 31L is pretty bad too!

I was too young when the Concorde stopped flying, but I caught it once at that very spot when I was about 7 years old (i'm 15 now) and I faintly remember it, but it was the most amazing experience of my life. With both of my hands covering both of my ears, I felt the earth below me start to erupt with vibrations of the amazing RR engines.

Where were you when you got those landing lights shots? You didn't climb up the landing lights themselves, did you?

dude, why the hugs pics? resizing is your friend...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Well I figured you guys would like detail, next time i'll resize them :(. No I didn't climb up the lights, we were off the side of Rockaway turnpike right before the fence, right under the runway. I zoomed in to take the touchdown shots.

Haha, yeah my avatar is one of my pictures too ! I use my dad's Canon PowerShot SX100 IS.
I got really lucky on my avatar picture, it was from the 13L approach. :)
