NYC sunset/ night shots (Warning: Many Photos)

Yesterday I my first full day off from school, and we took the opportunity to go into the city, and take a few photos. First to SoHo, then DUMBO, and finally Hunters Point.
It was my first time, so I know everything isn't perfect and the photos are unedited. I think Photo Bucket hurt the quality a bit with a downsize. Also, feedback and advice is very welcome.

this was an accident, but i like how it came out:

Nice collection Matt. Makes me wish I lived closer to the city.

Great stuff, all these night threads inspired me to head out to head over to Astoria Park with the cam last evening. I'll post shots later.

And they inspired me to head to Central Park last night. Unfortunately, I forgot to take off my UV filter, so all of my shots got ruined by flares

I'll post once I've had a chance to try again...

The waterfalls were started up today. They are suppose to be illuminated at night which should make for great shots.

Not to complain about the River Fountains just yet, because I have not seen them in use yet, but from the pictures in the papers today, I didn't expect to see straight through them so easily... thought there'd be more water. But perhaps it looks better in person, and almost definitely lit up at night.

No such luck. They are quite disappointing in real life as well.
